Cotton fibre can be made from conventional or organic cotton. Due to a number of properties, cotton is commonly used. The material is hygroscopic, resistant to stretching. Cotton used primarily in the clothing industry finds significant application in other industries, to include:

  • banknotes,
  • coffee filters,
  • production of oil,
  • conveyor belts,
  • even for fishing nets,
  • pharmaceutical, for the production of dressings and other hygienic materials.

Non-impregnated cotton belts (non-adhesive surface) are applied in the bakery industry, in particular in the raw dough kneading process. The operating temperature ranges from -30 to +180°C.
